Who we are.
We
have five years of experience in the lodging business; we started our
company BestInRome.com
while we were still located in Italy. One of our partners is a native
Italian and the other partner is an American who lived in Italy for 16
years. We recently located to North Carolina and we are so excited about the
beauty of this part of the country that we decided to apply the expertise
gained in the Italian lodging market to a new website. Why are we
different from all the other companies out there vying for your
business? We believe in giving personal service to our customers,
helping them to find the right "fit" for their vacations by introducing them
to locations hand-picked for their needs. We don't have thousands of
locations, because each location on our website is carefully chosen to be a
great value, in a good location, and run by owners with whom we have a
close, personal rapport. The locations on our website are
personally checked out by us, and periodically we visit to make sure

Advertise a location that doesn't exist and then try to push you
into a location you don't want at the last minute, like some of our
competitors.
There are also some websites that advertise apartments at
impossible prices only to attract your business, then change you
to a different apartment at the last minute, when it is far too late
for you to change your plans. Not only do we abhor these practices, we
also advise owners and consumer protection groups when we find out
about them. Remember, if a price is too good to be true, it
probably isn't true!
Although we promise to find you other accommodations
should an unforeseen event force us to move you, it has only been
necessary a few times (less than 0.1%) since we went into business.
Claim that our services have "no brokerage fees" or are "free of
commission." No agency is in this business as a charity venture, but
we're just more honest than most.

Even though we are a small, family run company we use all of the latest
technologies available. Angelo is a computer specialist with over 30 years
of experience in information technologies (banking, stock exchange and web
design). Our computer network in the office uses the latest high-speed
Internet broadband (T1) connections, and we are proud of our quick turn-around time
on responses to your emails. The phrase we see most often is "thank you for your
quick response." We use only Hewlett Packard computers, LinkSys network
devices and LinkSys Voice over IP telephone adapters. Even when we are
traveling, contacting us is a snap.
